After 4 years Of Separation, Sibling Doggos Reunite In New Forever Home

You guys know that we're suckers for a good ol' rescue story. You know, the one where a doggo goes from rotting on the streets to living its most luxurious and spoiled life in the comfort of silky bed sheets? Yeah, that's the one. These stories always remind us that despite the circumstances, there are still kind and compassionate people in the world who don't turn away from a suffering soul. Instead, they rescue, adopt, and love them until the end of time. 

But today we have something even more special. The highlight is on two sibling doggos named Fred and Fiona, and their amazing hooman who re-adopted them. Both doggo siblings were abandoned but at different times. Fred was the first one to be adopted by their now hooman. After a good 3-4 years, their hooman accidentally found an ad for a doggo in need (Fiona) and the rest is pretty much history. Have a read for yourself, we hope their story warms your hearts!

    Is some cutting onions again? We're not crying, you're crying… No, but really, how can one not shed a tear looking at this picture? That little headrest?! We can tell that these two love each other and are 100% sure they recognized one another. We're so happy for them!

    Font - I adopted Fred in 2014 when he was about a year old after he was abandoned in a park. His humans kicked him out of their car and drove off. He chased after them, but they didn't stop.

We can't help but picture this scenario of Fred chasing after the car, we can't believe people can be so cruel.

    Mammal - A year later, we moved over 1,000 miles away. 2 years after that, someone tagged me about a dog in need on Facebook about 30 minutes from where I adopted him in California. The dog had an ear that reminded me of him. I organized a plan and over 15 volunteers transported her to me to be my foster. I knew that I would keep her right away. She's perfect!

    Plant - 2 years after she became my foster failure, I did DNA tests on all of my dogs. Fred and Fiona share 51% of their DNA and are full siblings! I eventually found more information about Fiona from 2014 (3 years before I met her) and discovered that she was at a nearby shelter just 3 months after I adopted Fred.
